1. How much is the DVD and where can I buy it?
The DVD is now available to buy online:
- The NTSC DVD is available for $25 USD plus postage of $3.00
- The PAL DVD (within Australia and New Zealand) is $29.95 AUD. Postage is free on orders with Australian and New Zealand addresses only.
- The PAL DVD(for Europe, Asia and the rest of the world) is $25 USD plus postage of $3.00.

2. Can I buy or rent the DVD from a bookstore or retail shop?
The film is also available at s few small video stores (one in Bondi Junction, Sydney and one in Taree, NSW) If you are a video store, a retail or online shop and are interested in renting/selling the DVD please visit the shop for wholesale price lists
3. What is the difference between NTSC and PAL?
PAL is the region coding for all countries except the US and Canada which is coded as NTSC with a few exceptions. For more details on DVD formats view PAL details and NTSC details
4. Is it possible to download the online movie to my computer?
No, it is not possible to do this. The movie is progressively downloaded in RAM memory and progressively discarded. For more information see our VIvidas FAQ
5. What is the running time of the film and s it rated?
1 hour and 24 minutes. The film is exempt from classifation and can be watched by anyone.
6. Does the film contain graphic images? ie. of animal cruelty.
No, it does not. The film is specifically concerned with food, health and the environment.
7. How long will it take for DVD to arrive internationally?
Between 2 to 4 weeks depending on where on earth you live. Sometimes it will be as little as a few days if you live in New South Wales.
8. When will the University tour start, and will it come to my university?
The US Tour begins in March and ends at the end of June. Visit our
Screening page for more details or sign up for
our newsletter. The Australian Tour will take
place from August to October 2009. The West Coast Tour of the film in the US will take place in 2010 as well as the second half of the Australian tour.

9. Are the University and community Screenings free?
Yes, most of them are. There are some exceptions including the Cornell Screening on the 21st of April and a few others.
10. Can we set up a free screening of the film? Can you give us a free copy of the DVD?
No, we are really sorry. At this stage we not in a position to give out free DVDs.
Please see our Letter of Plea -which explains our situation. You are most welcome to show
the film to your group, university, church or even within your home at not cost. However we need to be informed of any screenings taking place.
This is of most important because we incur a cost even for free screenings; we have licensing on the music in the film, which needs to
be sought approval with every screening.

11. We are a cable or free to air channel and would like to show the film on air. Is this possible? How much will it cost for the license to do this?
We appreciate your interest in showing A Delicate Balance; however we would encourage only a short clip (no longer than 20 minutes). If you want to show the entire film free to air there will be licenses fee payable. Please contact us with the partculars and to discuss details.
